Rose (Rokale) is our featured stamper today - and what a fun gallery she has to share with us! As soon as I saw her cards with the Bird Crazy birds on them - I knew I'd CASE one of them - I have had this set FOREVER and I think I've only made one card using them!! I've had trouble coloring them actually - I'm not too skilled coloring with all the Copics I have - but have now discovered a wonderful watercolor paper (Arches - thanks to Loll!) that works great with my Distress Markers and Neo Color wax pens (although I'm still in the learning stage!)
I'm making Easter cards to sell at my church in a couple of weeks so I case'd Rose's Old Easter Bunny card . I changed the design of the card, used a different sentiment and layered my die cut 'bunny' on foam dots. I also added some sequins.
I also have the dies for these stamps - so I made my bird/bunny a little 3D layering on the eyes, mouth and wing. I cut the bird and pieces out of watercolor paper stamped them with Archival ink and colored everything with Ranger Distress Markers and my water pen. The bird is layered over the 'egg' with foam dots.
Congratulations Rose on being the FS today - enjoy all the cards in 'your' FS gallery this week!

Julia, this is over the top cuteness! So beautifully colored! I think you have mastered the markers! Placing the image on the egg shape is so very clever! Fabulous!

Too cute.....your colouring is beautiful! I'm on a lifelong quest to find the perfect combination of elements to help my extremely average colouring skills....lol!!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
